Welcome to this month’s Paper Adventures blog hop. How exciting to start thinking about Christmas and the projects in this hop are inspired by the theme of Christmas in July, We are delighted to have Denise Buetler as our guest designer, welcome Denise!

This card features the classic combination of red and green which I love for Christmas projects. On a base of Cherry Cobbler I’ve gold embossed a stamp from the Artisan Effects stamp set and layered with a piece of the new designer series paper in Shaded Spruce. Have you seen the new reversible ribbon? It’s so pretty and this is layered underneath the vellum stitched square die cut along with sprigs of berries created using the Bloom and Grow stamp set. The sentiment is a die cut from the Well Said dies that carried over from the annual catalogue and the saying from the recently retired Snowflake Sentiments. A couple of the new in colour faceted dots complete the look.

Thanks for stopping by, Lisa x

  2. Wow, Lisa. You’ve transformed Bloom & Grow into a fabulous Christmas set! Amazing!! I love the traditional colour scheme (I’m a traditional Christmas girl at heart), the pretty layering, and the touches of gold. Perfect!

  3. Fabulous card Lisa – so clever to take your non-Christmassy products and turn them festive. Love it! Kelly x PS, I need some of that ribbon now!
