This week at Paper Pals Art we have a colour challenge from Jackie Diediker. Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder! I’ve used the gold sequin ribbon and the petite petal stamp and punch. The larger flower and the paper are retired but, this is an effect you can achieve with current flower stamps and the Color Me Irresistible paper. This paper is great for colour challenges as it’s white and ready to be inked up in any colour. The pattern that’s revealed through colouring the paper adds some great interest and dimension. I added the colour using sponge daubers and pressing on the lid of the stamp pad (whilst closed!) to transfer ink onto the lid once opened up. Colour challenges really encourage you to move out of your comfort zone and try something a little different.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project! There are so many great deals on at the moment you’ll want to visit the Stampin Up site (click here) to make sure you don’t miss out! Great use of the DSP, so soft with the reveal of the the leaves! Love the bling, too! Thanks for playing along with the Pals color challenge this week!
I love the watercoloring with the Irresistible DSP. The combination of the flowers creates even more texture. Love that. Thank you for sharing your creativity with the Pals this week.
The background is gorgeous and the sprinkles of flowers are a great way to make a card for Spring. Thanks for playing with Pals Paper Arts.
Gorgeous backdrop for these beautiful flowers, Lisa. Such a great card! I’m so glad you played along with this week’s Pals Paper Arts color challenge.
