Hello and welcome to this post for the inaugural colour INKspiration challenge. The design team chose a gorgeous pastel colour combination and for this card I’ve used five of them-Tempting Turquoise, Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum, So Saffron and Peekaboo Peach. To create the stripes I’ve cut strips of each colour at 1cm width and then cut them at random lengths and pieced together. This technique is also a great way of using up those scraps of paper that I know we all keep 🙂 I’ve used two of the Stitched framelit dies to create the frame for the sentiment which is stamped from the Watercolour wishes stamp set in Peekaboo Peach.

  1. Cute card, Lisa! I love the idea and the design. I’ve just begun subscribing to your blog and have really enjoyed seeing your lovely cards. Your succulents in the macramé basket are awesome. I am a new demonstrator and am trying to learn from inspiring SU leaders like you. Thank you!
