Welcome to this month’s Crazy Crafter’s Blog Hop. This month we are CASEing Tracy May. I’ve enjoyed looking through Tracy’s work on her blog site (http://bedlamandbutterflies.co.uk/) and finding a project to CASE. Tracy loves using watercolour techniques in her work and this is the theme that I have drawn on to create my cards. I have to say, after running out of watercolour paper last year, I hadn’t replaced it, so I’m pleased to have some in my supplies now!
This card started with some watercolouring in Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim, lots of water to create colour runs and left overnight to dry. Once dry I embossed the sentiment in white from the Scenic Sayings stamp set. The centre section was stamped again and embossed in gold and some random gold accents added. The background mount is Emerald Envy.
The second card started with the same watercolour approach, adding lots of water and creating colour runs in Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim, Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugar Plum. Using the Petite Petals stamp set, the flowers were watercoloured using an aquapainter in Rich Razzleberry with Peek-a-boo Peach for the centre. The sentiment was embossed in Blushing Bride embossing power (now retired) with the middle stamped in Rich Razzleberry and a back mount in Sweet Sugarplum.

Lovely cards Lisa. I haven’t done any water colouring, but I think after seeing these I need to put it on my to-do list.
Ha, ha, I left the water colour paper off my order! Love your water colouring.
Love the use of all your colors. Looks great. Angexx
Beautifully CASEd I love your Watermarks, Very true to the colours you painted as they didn’t go muddy. I like the Gold Heat Embossing on the Banner, gives a WOW factor to the card.
Lovely cards Lisa! I particularly love the Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim with the gold embossing! I’m so happy to be hopping with you today!
Both your cards are gorgeous but I like be the flower one! So pretty! Xx
