Welcome to this month’s Ink It! Stamp It! Blog hop. The theme for this month is technique and I’ve chosen to use the bleaching technique. It’s been nearly two years since I last used this technique and I’ve fallen in love with it again! These two cards feature the flower stamp from the Wood Words stamp set, each stamped in a slightly different configuration. I’ve clear embossed the stamps on a Chocolate Chip card stock.
I applied the bleach neat to the card stock using a toothpick! Anything fine will work to transfer small drops of bleach onto the card. I wanted a delicate look without bleeding outside of the embossing and took my time. The cards are finished off with burlap ribbon and a stamp from the Wood Words stamp set.

Enjoy the rest of the Blog Hop, there’s sure to be some amazing cards in this line up!
Thanks for stopping by, Lisa x
I am still yet to try this technique…..thanks for sharing Lisa….might just give this a go
Wow – two stunning cards! I love bleaching (as long as it doesn’t involve actual housework!) and you’ve really showcased it brilliantly! There’s so much detail – I’m not sure I would have the patience to work with a toothpick! Wow again!
Another technique I have nt tried! Thank yuo Lisa for explaining this technique so well. I can say I am confiednt enough to have a crack at this myself now! Your cards are simply gorgeous showcases of the bleach and CAS techniques
A fantastic showcase of the bleaching technique, love how the colour looks on chocolate chip.
I’ve never tried bleaching, great tip to use a tooth pick for the delicate areas. I may just brave enough to give this a go
You’re brave using bleach but they do look amazing xx
Lovely cards Lisa. I’ve never tried bleaching before but what a great effect. Might need to try it out now.
