Welcome to this month’s Paper Adventures blog hop with an Australian theme. Thank you to Jo Stubbings for joining us this month We are celebrating Australia day this weekend and thinking about all things Australian led me to…kangaroos!.
I’m lucky to see kangaroos nearly every day-they live in the park close to my house. I drew the kangaroo outline freehand onto watercolour paper and then had some fun!

The background for the green kangaroo is from the Sail Away kit and the stamping on the pink kangaroo are the flower stamps from the Best Dressed stamp set. Whatever you’re celebrating this weekend-enjoy!
Please hop over to Kelly’s page to see what she has created for our Australian themed hop!
Thanks for joining me this month.

These are stunning, Lisa. I’m super impressed at your freehand drawing of the kangaroo. And the technique you’ve used for colouring them is stunning. Just beautiful!!
