Welcome to this social stamping blog hop set up by the fab Kelly Kent. This week we are celebrating animals-our pets have been very important to us during the restrictions and dog walks have been the main form of exercise and connection with the community. We are lucky enough to live next to a national park and see kangaroos nearly day, we also have a national park 20 minutes away with koalas. These connections have inspired this week’s cards using the Animal Outings stamp set. This isn’t carrying over, you’ll need to order quickly if you want it!

These cards feature a fancy fold that I first saw showcased by Wendy Cranford. They feature panels that cross over the opening of the card and as with may fancy folds, are deceptively simple to pull together. I’ve used one of the new in colours, Cinnamon Cider as the base and the soon to be retiring Garden Lane DSP.

I’m looking forward to seeing what my friend and team mate Siobhan Fitzsimmons has created and enjoy hopping around the rest of the group’s creations. If you lose the link up you can use the main link back to Kelly’s post for a list of all participants HERE

Let’s stay connected-thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of the hop! Lisa x

  1. What a fun fold! I’m going to miss this stamp set! Where else are you going to get a koala hitching a ride with a kangaroo. Kelly x

  2. Such a cool fun fold! I love your brown and green colour scheme – very Australian bush. Your kangaroo and koala pair are beautifully coloured and it go perfectly with the DSP you have chosen. Gorgeous!
