Welcome to this week’s social stamping blog hop set up by the amazing Kelly Kent. This week we are celebrating travel-or at least the memory of past travel and journeys yet to be taken! In WA the internal borders are now open, but the borders between states remain closed. Still, we are looking forward to travel within WA for the seeable future-lots to see and do.

I’m so pleased that the Sailing Home stamp set has carried over-it’s one of my favourites but I’ve hardly used it. This image of a sailing boat is super nostalgic and I wanted it to be the hero on these cards. I created the clouds by cutting out my own template from card and laying the effect using sponge daubers in Pool Party and Balmy Blue.  The sea effect is created by inking up and stamping the surround of the lighthouse stamp multiple times. I like them both, but the masked circle effect card is my favourite!

I’m looking forward to seeing what Julia Quinn has created and enjoy hopping around the rest of the group’s creations. If you lose the link up you can use the main link back to Kelly’s post for a list of all participants HERE

Let’s stay connected-thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of the hop! Lisa x

  1. Gorgeous cards Lisa. A sailboat with only the warm sun and gentle breeze sounds like an amazing holiday (maybe a cocktail or two also!). Kelly x

Great way of making the water/waves. Love how you’ve raised up the sailboat on the circle to make it the hero on the card.

    1. Your use of the lighthouse stamp to create the water is ingenious, what a clever idea. This is a fabulous way to holiday x

  3. Wow, what great cards Lisa. Love your treatment os the sea, sky and the boats themselves. The two variations of showing the sailing boat within a circular frame is very clever. x
