Welcome to this month’s Paper Adventures blog hop. This month’s challenge is extra fun, a kit challenge with specific elements to be included. Welcome also to Joanne James from The Crafty Owl in the UK who is joining us this month 🙂
I’ve been looking forward to using the golden hoops and followed a picture tutorial on how to make a dream catcher. I have gone slightly off piste by using a rectangle of DSP rather than a square and it is newly retired-Golden Honey DSP 🙂

This card needed to be larger than standard size for a group farewell to one of my colleagues. It measures 21cm by 29.5cm wide and has three panels. I have created a gap where the two front pieces meet so that the slider can be used. The front panel slides off and on and holds the card together when in place! I saw this idea on Bibi Cameron’s YouTube channel and adapted the idea for a dream catcher card. The slide mechanism is made by creating four rectangles of the same size, folding two in half and adhering and then a flat piece on top. Bibi will explain all-and it’s much easier than it sounds!
I can’t wait to see what Siobhan has made for this challenge.
Have a great weekend.

Oh, you rectangular rebel!! I think you can be forgiven, because this is fabulous. What an awesome keepsake for your colleague. This is a very cool design and I just love how you’ve made the dream catcher. Super clever.
Lisa what a fabulous card! I love all of the gold touches and am in awe of your dream catcher – however long did that take?! So creative. Thanks for having me as your blog hop guest this time around!
