Hello and thanks for visiting this post featuring a card made for the Global Design Project. This week it’s a colour challenge using the gorgeous Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron and Petal Pink. Such delicate colours that look lovely together. I’m still getting a lot of use from my Wood Words Stamp Set, it’s so versatile!
This card features the main flower stamp in the set, embossed in white on glossy cardstock. I hadn’t tried watercolour on glossy cardstock before but it worked a treat! Using my aquapainter I was able to colour the image using this lovely combination of colours. Have you found that you can’t squeeze the new ink pads to create ink in the lid to pick up with the aquapainter? Me too-but I got around this by inking up a clear block and using this to pick up colour. I’ve finished off with a sentiment from the Bella and Friends stamp set and pearls. Love it!
