Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Nadine Koller. As a team we each choose one of Nadine’s cards to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit). I’ve chosen this beautiful subtle card from Nadine’s blog, a great alternative Christmas card. The technique Nadine used was to lightly spritz a piece of watercolour paper and then use cellophane to pick up colour from the ink pad, spritz this and then smudge the colour onto the watercolour paper. Once dry the chosen image is stamped and embossed.

For my card, I used Pool Party and Blushing Bride ink, The beautiful stamp is from the new Wood Words stamp set. It is so detailed and stamps cleanly so that none of the detail is lost. The little sentiment is from Wood Words also. The Wood Words set will be available 1st June, not long now!

  1. So very subtle Nadi. I love this effect. Emboss resist is such a fun technique and to use it with such a light touch makes for a pretty and tactile card.
