Welcome to this month’s Crazy Crafter’s Blog Hop. This month we are CASEing Tracy May. I’ve enjoyed looking through Tracy’s work on her blog site (http://bedlamandbutterflies.co.uk/) and finding a project to CASE. Tracy loves using watercolour techniques in her work and this is the theme that I have drawn on to create my cards. I have to say, after running out of watercolour paper last year, I hadn’t replaced it, so I’m pleased to have some in my supplies now!

This card started with some watercolouring in Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim, lots of water to create colour runs and left overnight to dry. Once dry I embossed the sentiment in white from the Scenic Sayings stamp set. The centre section was stamped again and embossed in gold and some random gold accents added. The background mount is Emerald Envy.

The second card started with the same watercolour approach, adding lots of water and creating colour runs in Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim, Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugar Plum. Using the Petite Petals stamp set, the flowers were watercoloured using an aquapainter in Rich Razzleberry with Peek-a-boo Peach for the centre. The sentiment was embossed in Blushing Bride embossing power (now retired) with the middle stamped in Rich Razzleberry and a back mount in Sweet Sugarplum.
Thank you for visiting today and enjoy the rest of the bloghop-see below for the list of players this month and to hop to the next blog-Lisa x

Lovely cards Lisa. I haven’t done any water colouring, but I think after seeing these I need to put it on my to-do list.
