Paper Adventures team blog hop February 2019
Welcome to this month’s Paper Adventures blog hop. The cards in this hop have been inspired by a layout design and we have a special guest, Zoe Tant from the UK hopping with us this month, thanks Zoe!
I love the use of circles in this design and I’ve turned it upside down to create this card featuring the Butterfly Gala stamp set and punch. Can’t seem to get enough of this set even though I wasn’t a “butterfly” person before-try it and you’re hooked! The background features a little water colouring, using a masking technique that I’ve allowed to bleed a little to create a border.
Once the watercolour was complete, I gold embossed the butterflies and added a little watercolour in matching colours (shaded spruce, coastal cabana and mint macaron) and added Wink of Stella. Gold thread creates the circles and the cute sentiment is from the stamp set.
