Hello and welcome to this month’s team hop. You may have joined me from my friend Mandy and her lovely work or started here. Enjoy hopping round all of the posts. A special welcome to Lorri Heiling based in the USA who is joining us today as our guest designer 🙂

Can you believe we are getting close to the year end and Christmas-all the events of this year seem to have made the year feel like it’s passed even more quickly than usual! Our theme is Christmas wrapping and packaging-the perfect reason to make a start on creating gift tags and a gift bag.

I love the Playful Pets DSP and being surrounded by dog lovers I’ve made a gift bag using the All Dressed Up dies and added a Christmas hat both sides. This little bag can hold several chocolates or a hand cream or sanitizer-perfect for small gifts. My second project is a set of gift tags featuring the Scalloped Tag Topper punch, the Beautiful Boughs dies for the greenery and the Joy Dies for the sentiment. I’ve paired these with the Real Red braided linen trim and the Poppy Parade ribbon from the All The Trimmings ribbon combo pack in the mini catalogue. The bells add the perfect Christmas jingle to any present 🙂

Enjoy the hop and I’m looking forward to seeing what Narelle has created for this month’s challenge.

  1. Two fabulous examples of festive crafting with very different styles. The hat on your pooch is just adorable! It’s the custom touches that make handmade so special! Kelly x

  2. These tags are amazing, so much texture and detail. They would really finish off any gift and make it look extra special. And I love the doggy in the Santa hat. That is an adorable little detail. 🙂 Siobhan.
