Paper Adventures Team Hop-Technique

Hello and welcome to this month’s team hop. You may have joined me from my friend and upline Kelly Kent post or started here. Enjoy hopping round all of the posts. A special welcome to Kayla Creadie, a member of the SU Artisan Design Team who is joining us today as our guest designer 🙂

This month we are highlighting a technique that is new to me-pointillism also known as dot colouring. The picture to the right “Bathers at Asnieres” by Seurat is one of the most famous examples of this technique.

I’ve enjoyed trying out this technique and combining dot colouring with stamps. I’ve featured the Natures Beauty stamp set and love the way this technique sets off the stamps as the focus.

Enjoy the hop and I’m looking forward to seeing what Robyn has created for this month’s challenge.

  1. Beautiful cards Lisa, I especially love the deer and bunny on crumb cake with white and black dots – they’ve got such a beautiful vintage feel.
