Social Stamping-Neutrals

Welcome to the Social Stamping blog hop for April with a colour theme and the challenge to use colours in the neutrals range. Thank you Kelly for organising the blog hop-I always look forward to the opportunity to connect with demonstrators across Australia and New Zealand. The snap lockdown we are in at the moment in WA highlights the ongoing value of connection and support as the coronavirus continues to impact us all.

You may have joined me from my friend Narelle’s post or started here, but if you lose your way you can link back to the main post here.

Starting with a shimmery champagne coloured base (not current SU stock) I’ve die cut rectangles in Basic Grey, Mossy Meadow, Merry Merlot, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, and Early Expresso and added butterflies embossed in white. The butterflies are from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and punched out using the Butterfly Duet punch. Both of these are retiring soon-get in quick before they’re gone! I’ve added sentiments from the Heartfelt stamp set and the Well Written dies, both retiring soon as well!

The neutrals range is super sophisticated and the rich tones are perfect for Autumn.

Let’s hop over and see what Julia based on the Sunshine Coast has created and enjoy more work featuring this classy colour palette!

  1. OH Lisa your cards are spectacular!! I looooove what you’ve done with the butterflies and rectangles – the cards seem to move with the amazing arrangement on them!! This is so clever!! THankyou for the amazing inspiration!!

  2. Two amazing cards Lisa. You have combined the neutral colours beautifully. I love your layout with the white embossed butterflies and the different sized rectangles. Stunning. Xxx

  3. Oh these are such fun cards! The white embossing is perfect and really gives credit to the colours you’ve chosen. The clean background makes them all standout perfectly.
